NEXGEN was established in 2004 as a result of the industry’s demand for a comprehensive asset management software solution. Existing systems were disconnected, departments completely segregated from one another.

NEXGEN Asset Management broke down those silos by providing a game-changing enterprise-wide software solution that integrates all of the functionalities of an industry-leading CMMS with cutting-edge EAM planning capabilities.

The challenge

We were launching a new brand and website and wanted to make sure that once our new site was launched that we had a good SEO strategy behind the new site to increase the number of “qualified” leads and demo requests coming through the site. We also wanted to focus more on Enterprise Asset Management as our main keyword but keep up searches with Computerized Maintenance Management System.

The results

Since March, we have implemented a strong SEO and Email campaign in order to reach more qualified clients, increase their SERP impressions, and retain their current customers. This has lead to a 416% increase in unique pageviews, a 207% increase in pageviews, and a 56% increase clicks Year over Year.

Lessons learned

As we have moved through our strategy, we have learned that their blog is a very rich area that is driving a lot of traffic to the site and is a great place for forward momentum. We also found that focusing on non-branded keywords was incredibly strategic due to the high saturation in the industry. This allowed NEXGEN to become more authoritative in their niche topics while gaining a competitive advantage in the search results.

What we did to achieve the goals

As a team we collaborated to focus on adding more clarity to their site as a whole when displaying their offerings and services. We made sure to utilize the blogs to build more authority and increase visibility in search rankings. Finally, we relied on low-hanging fruit keywords to boost keyword rankings and gain better positioning on SERPS.
